Tuiqqu Espresso Wooden Mug Black Outside
This handmade wooden mug is our version of the traditional Swedish kåsa, but with a modern Scandinavian twist to it.
The mug is made of birch wood sourced from private forests in Swedish Lapland. This particular mug was made from a birch tree that was grown by Mats in the vicinity of our city – Skellefteå.
To make the piece more durable, we added black coating outside (burned wood), which preserves the wood from high temperatures and allows you to enjoy your favourite morning coffee without worrying about any changes in the mug’s colour and texture.
On the outside, we used natural oil finish to enhance the beauty of the wood. All coatings used for our mugs are food-safe certified.
