The Modern Idea
We are newcomers from the South, who found their place in the world close to the Arctic Circle and decided to quit everything to build their lives here.
Our projects are our interpretation of the Lapland's heritage and tradition. We translate the traditional approach for the needs of modern homes, we adapt them to the modern lifestyle that most of us lead.
We create design from the heart of Lapland, which in its soul has the defiance of modern times.
Swedish Lapland Brand
There is no better way of giving you a piece of Lapland than creating our products from local materials, even though, it sometimes means digging the wood out from under two meters of snow.
All our products are hand-crafted and send to you directly from our workshop in the middle of the Swedish winter wonderland.
Producing locally helps the region build its own brand and for us, as a company, supporting it was an obvious and non-negotiable part of the business idea.
100% Vegan
While we do love to take what’s best from life, we also keep in mind, that we are not the first, nor the last ones to live here.
This is why we pay utmost attention to responsible and sustainable development.
The most famous residents of Lapland are moose and reindeers and, although, our designs are vastly inspired by them, we do not use any animal products in our work. Instead, we donate money from every sale to charities which look after these animals.
A place where winter lasts for half a year.
In northern Sweden, we measure thickness of snow layer in meters. We stop our car to let moose and reindeers pass. We fall asleep with an image of aurora under eyelids. Sometimes, wrapped in several layers of blankets, we drink coffee in the middle of a frozen lake.
This is our new home that we found thousands kilometers away from where we come from - Poland. Lapland taught us how to fully admire nature. It has evoked so many emotions and experiences and become our greatest inspiration. Here, time slows down and gives us this wonderful sense of freedom which we want to share.
We create each of our products having this place in mind. We want to give you a little piece of Lapland’s magic, but without taking advantage of its unique wildlife. This is why we replace real antlers with ones that are hand-carved from wood or other plant-based materials. Each of our designs is an interpretation of Lappish heritage and a reminder that this invariably beautiful place really exists.
And it lasts, invariably beautiful.
